Andrew Stacey
Host – Section 5
Andrew Stacey has had a passion for film, television, and performance since he was a child, and performed in multiple stage productions through school and community theatre. In July 2021, Andrew shot and edited an audition video for a hosting job with his favourite football team, the Toronto Argonauts. While he didn’t get the job, he loved the process of making the video, and this led him to join the Television Broadcasting and Independent Production program at Conestoga College.
Since joining the program, Andrew has found that his favourite role is being in front of the camera, so he’s excited to be a host for Conestoga Connected this season. As an avid fan of classic Canadian sports and games, he’s excited to share that passion with the audience as the host of “Oh Canada”.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys watching football, playing video games, watching movies and shows, and spending time with friends. After school, he hopes to work in the film or television industry…and maybe one day, land that dream job with the Argos!
Lovepreet Singh
Host – Section 5
As the host of Conestoga Connected, Lovepreet Singh brings his passion for storytelling and creativity to the screen, drawing from his background in broadcasting and independent production. He explores a wide range of topics that engage and inspire, from local events to unique lifestyle features, always aiming to connect with the audience in meaningful ways. In addition to hosting “The Auto Boyz”, where his deep love for cars and automotive mechanics shines, Lovepreet is driven by a passion for both informing and entertaining viewers with enthusiasm and authenticity.
Vlad Mironescu
Senior Editor – Section 5
Having grown a passion for video editing from a young age through gaming YouTube videos, Vlad has had the opportunity to further his skills in High School, where he made various short films for his Media Arts class and won awards when entering The Charlie Film Festival, a high school film competition. Now in his second year at Conestoga College for TV & Independent Production, he is ready to turn his hobby into a career. Where may you ask? Wherever life leads him, he’s open to any opportunities! Due to his extensive experience, he has been chosen as editor and is ecstatic to take on the role! He is also the host in the 2-man team, bringing his calm but lively personality to take the lead throughout the series. He’s always been passionate about music as well, having studied and performed the violin – this experience will aid in guiding the edits of the series with the support of music.
Beena Kooplikattil
Supervising Producer – Section 5
Beena K enjoys watching horror, romantic and comedy films. After developing an interest in post-production for television commercials, she pursued Broadcasting in Television and Independent Production at Conestoga College to enhance her education. She’s eager to host a segment on Conestoga Connected and aims to work as a production manager or executive producer after graduating. Her experience as a VFX producer has strengthened her organizational, multitasking, and planning skills in fast-paced environments. Outside of work and college, she loves music, cooking, traveling, and reading.

Ashish Asha Shibu
Section 5
Ashish discovered his passion for visual storytelling early on, but it was during his time in the Broadcast Television and Independent Production program at Conestoga College that his love for filmmaking truly flourished. With a solid background in video production and editing, Ashish brings both creative vision and technical expertise to every project he works on.
As a key contributor to Conestoga Connected, Ashish is excited to apply his skills in both camera operation and post-production, ensuring each segment tells a compelling story. He thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys combining creativity with precision to bring ideas to life. Ashish has also gained valuable experience producing content for YouTube, developing an eye for detail and a passion for engaging audiences.
After graduation, Ashish hopes to continue his journey as a content creator, aiming to work as a director or editor in film and television, with a focus on innovative storytelling that resonates with viewers.
Dylan Buck-Bowen
Section 5
Dylan Buck-Bowen’s creative journey started as a child when he found an interest in visual arts and taking a vision from his mind to reality. During high school, he learned that a visual arts career path was not for him. However, he began to take communications tech where he had been learning the basics of editing and being behind the camera.
After taking a gap year to decide what to pursue, Dylan set his sights onto Conestoga’s Broadcasting – Television and Independent Production program. During the program he discovered that he could combine his interest in visual arts and broadcasting while producing ArtBlock. He also greatly enjoys working in the TV studio doing switching, VTR, audio and planning with his team. In the future, Dylan would like to continue telling the stories of artists he meets and develop his own talents on the way.
Josh Guidolin
Section 5
Josh has had a deep passion for movies for as long as he can remember. Growing up, he dreamed of working in a movie theater, eager to immerse himself in the world of film. Over the years, he sought to understand what fascinated him so much about movies, initially drawn to the intricate processes behind the creation of his favourites.
He explored this interest through various avenues, starting with taking photography courses in high school and later enrolling in online media studies classes. Each experience brought him closer to his goal, ultimately leading him to discover Conestoga’s Broadcast Television & Independent Production program.
It was here that Josh’s passion truly flourished, particularly in the realm of postproduction. He developed a keen interest in editing, where he found the magic of storytelling truly comes to life. As he continues to build on his experiences and hone his skills, Josh remains dedicated to learning more about the fascinating art of filmmaking, eager to contribute to the captivating world that has always inspired him.
Felipe Hurtado Bermudez
Section 5
Felipe is a Colombian passionate about motion pictures and audiovisual experimentation. With a degree in Communications and Journalism from his home country, he now seeks to take his knowledge and experiences a step further in Canada.
His drive to connect with the film industry is a great motivation to seek his own identity in his creations every day. His greatest experience lies in the field of post-production, working for different clients and projects as an editor, VFX composer, and sound designer.
His passion for music is also one of his main motivations to experiment, stay up-to-date with new trends, techniques, and connections in the audiovisual world. Mapping projection is another of his major interests; with his participation as a director in several large venue projects, this technique is one of his main goals to implement as a developing company once he completes his studies.
Amal Krishna
Section 5
Amal Krishna is an experienced camera operator currently pursuing a Diploma in Television and Video Production at Conestoga College and is expected to graduate in April 2025. With hands-on expertise in both live broadcasts and studio productions, Amal excels at managing cameras, gimbals, and lighting setups to capture high-quality footage. His technical skills extend across industry-standard tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
Amal’s previous experience includes working as a videographer with DreamCaptures Visual Media Productions in Kerala, India, where he contributed to creative storytelling through promotional and corporate video projects.
After graduating, Amal sees himself building his own film or production venture, bringing his vision to life through innovative storytelling.
Snehal Shaileshbhai Parmar
Section 5
Filmmaking and cars have always been Snehal Parmar‘s two equal interests in life. He’s now honing his broadcast television show talents at Conestoga College. He combines his two loves on “The Auto Boyz” where a range of automobilesᅳfrom trucks and bikes to historic cars and contemporary carsᅳare highlighted. Snehal takes great pleasure in his ability to skilfully capture each car’s unique tale through thoughtful editing and camera angles. He particularly enjoys how each vehicle has a backstory. This episode of “The Auto Boyz” will explore how cars have become more and more appealing to different generations in terms of style, technology, and cultural importance. In this episode of “The Auto Boyz,” Snehal is thrilled to contrast the eternal beauty of old cars with the subtle lines of contemporary cars.
After completing his education at Conestoga college, Snehal hopes to find work sports broadcasting channel.
Gokul Raj
Section 5
Gokul Raj started loving cinema and filmmaking at an early age. He successfully completed his bachelor’s in Multimedia and began to explore the world of filmmaking. He started to work as volunteer for film sets and also did independent projects as well. Soon after a few years, he realized he needed to know more about production in television sector. That is when he decided to join Broadcasting: Television & Independent Production, at Conestoga College. Since day one he was able to blend into the world of TV Production. He and his colleagues founded a freelance video production company in Canada named, IlluminArte Films.
During his off-campus time, Gokul loves to research about new and distinct aspects of filmmaking by watching quality films and updating his knowledge.
After Graduating, Gokul hopes to find himself running the company successfully with his colleagues, and to do his own feature film.
Jitesh Kumar Sharma
Section 5
Jitesh Sharma discovered his passion for filmmaking and storytelling early on, a journey that led him to study Broadcasting: Television and Independent Production at Conestoga College. With five years of experience in photography and videography, Jitesh has developed his skills through formal education and hands-on work across various sets and productions.
His industry experience spans roles like Pre & Post Production Assistant and Foley Artist at Zee Studios Jaipur, to his current work as a Camera Operator and Director for Conestoga Connected on Rogers TV.
He co-produced and directed The Auto Boyz, a popular segment exploring luxury vehicles through engaging storytelling.
In 2024, Jitesh volunteered at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he learned from industry professionals, gaining new insights and refining his filmmaking approach. After graduation, he plans to direct impactful movies and television shows, bringing his creative visions to life through the techniques and storytelling mastery he has developed.
Jobanjit Singh
Section 5
Jobanjit is from India and interested in cameras from his childhood. After completing his secondary education, he came to Canada to follow his passion in cameraman field. He’s looking forward to the chance to show his skills with this show. He had a great loved with cameras and also has various information about different cameras.
Amjith Viswanath
Section 5
Amjith Viswanath developed a passion for filmmaking early on, inspired by the way media can shape narratives and connect audiences. Amjith who has won recognition from the Television Broadcasting and Independent Production program at Conestoga College, who is excited to work on his segment for Conestoga Connected, where he plays a key role in production, handling both the technical aspects and creative direction.
With a strong foundation in camera work, lighting, and editing, Amjith brings practical experience and dedication to every project. He is particularly passionate about exploring the dynamics of independent filmmaking and looks forward to contributing his skills in direction and cinematography.
After graduation, Amjith aims to pursue a career in media production, to work on innovative and compelling film or television projects. His ambition is to make meaningful content that resonates with viewers and creates a lasting impact.
Samuel Vroom
Section 5
Samuel Vroom developed a curiosity about film early in his life from the classic shows he watched as he grew up, such as Star Trek, Stargate, Quantum Leap, and Babylon 5, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings book series. This sparked his interest in writing for world- and story-building. Currently, Samuel Vroom focuses on the development of skills in camera operation, lighting, and audio. Furthering writing allows for the application of years of learning and creating a strong portfolio.
A degree in marketing, combined with over seven years of developing applications on computers and mobile devices along with websites, provides a unique combination of technical resources that Samuel Vroom brings to filmmaking. This encompasses previous work as a bank sales representative, the construction of software, and various part-time jobs on film sets as an LSP. After graduation, the goal is to break into the film industry as a screenwriter and launch a personal freelance business offering video production, web development, and software creation services.
When not working, Samuel Vroom, enjoys playing chess and soccer and is an avid Liverpool FC supporter.
Sam Weber
Section 5
Sam Weber is a second-year student at Conestoga College’s Television Broadcasting & Independent Production program. He is the Producer/host of the “Brews of Expression” Segment, discovering the communities that grow through local cafés in the area. Some of Sam’s favourite memories with his family are of watching movies of all kinds. Sam’s greatest passion is music and how it can move and inspire others emotionally. One of his biggest inspirations is the TV series LOST, a Twilight Zone-like show that balances many genres and characters, culminating into one grand sci-fi story. He hopes to take his experience at Conestoga further to round out his project management skills in video production. Being a part of collaborative projects brings Sam much joy, imagining new stories to tell from different perspectives and developing concepts and feelings he’d want to experience as a viewer.
Ao Zhang

Alfred Zhang turned his passion for video into a professional pursuit when he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Postproduction. For Alfred, he sees editing not merely as trimming footage but as an art of storytelling that captivates viewers. Currently, Alfred is excited to contribute to his team as an editor, where his primary role involves the editing process from concept to final cut. He enjoys working collaboratively, ensuring that every project is completed on time while maintaining the highest quality of work. Looking forward, Alfred is determined to further advance his career in video postproduction and continue to refine his craft.
