Section 4 – Crew Bios
Toluwanife Adeyemi
Host – Section 4
Toluwanife Adeyemi had always had a passion for arts from a very young age; From onstage drama presentations to poem recitals, he knew that he was meant for the screen. This passion was further encouraged through Debate Societies and International Awareness competitions that he participated in. It was not until he enrolled into the Broadcast Television program at Conestoga, that he was able to get a closer look into the behind-the-scenes of his favorite productions. Toluwanife is very comfortable in front of the camera, which is why he is excited to host Conestoga Connected and serve as the anchor for Climb, Drive and Thrive.
When not working on school assignments, Tolu loves going hiking, doing yoga and enjoying the serenity of a good book while in the comforts of his bed.
After school, Toluwanife hopes to find work as an onscreen personality for a television production company.
Amit Kumar
Host – Section 4
Amit Kumar, a cinematographer, loves to make content that resonates with people’s emotions is excited to try his hand at hosting skills on Conestoga Connected. His interest was born in the creative industry when he started making videos on YouTube back in 2016 that made him grow his video making and storytelling skills.
In his segment called Date2Remember he is working as a cinematographer and editor, and he is extremely excited to work in this segment for Conestoga connected.
He is hoping to pursue his career in independent production after completing his graduation from Conestoga to make music videos, shows and content for social media to help brands to digitize themselves.
He has 3 years of experience working in this industry which started from working as a videographer for content creator, including freelancing for commercial productions and fashion campaigns. After thinking a lot about his future, he decided to join Conestoga for Television Broadcasting and Independent Production in 2023.
Jason Orellana
Senior Editor – Section 4
Jason Orellana, found a passion for content creation from a young age. Growing up during the era of the internet, Jason would enjoy passing the time by recording gaming videos with his friends and uploading them to YouTube. Fast forward years later, Jason decided that he should turn his love for editing from a hobby into a career, as he enrolled into Conestoga College’s Broadcasting and Independent Production program. From there, he realized that he was able to do much more than just editing, being the producer, director and cinematographer for the segment Hometown Showdown, a competition-based reality show. At the end of the day, no matter the project, Jason aims to keep things creative, entertaining and unique, making sure every final product is turned into something special.
Nicole Pulido
Supervising Producer – Section 4
Nicole Pulido, has always been passionate about broadcasting and does her best to put herself to opportunities for growth. She has done a lot of on-camera work as a sports broadcaster and hosting that honed her skills in reporting and writing. Overseeing production is also one of her strengths as she takes on producing in most of her works.
When placed in front of the camera, Nicole has an innate charisma that makes any of her guests feel comfortable to be themselves. She also has a great wit that goes well with Date 2 Remember. Throw her a curveball and she will definitely make something out of it. Nicole is a very adaptable producer that manages her project with excellence. Producing and hosting the show is right up Nicole’s alley as it would challenge her and hone her skills furthermore.
Nicole, just like what she always does, gracefully believes that she will be a successful producer and on camera talent in the near future.
Himanshu Koirala
Social Media Manager – Section 4
Himanshu Koirala has always been drawn to the power of storytelling and its ability to connect millions of people, which sparked their passion for the media industry. While studying Broadcast Television at Conestoga College, Himanshu has strong skill set in content creation, editing, social media strategy, and digital marketing. As a Social Media Manager on the Conestoga Connected segment, they look forward to bringing creativity, collaboration to life, engaging audiences and amplify the reach of their content across various platforms.
Upon graduation, the future career path for Himanshu Koirala goes toward social media management or digital marketing within the television or entertainment industry with a passion for connecting audiences to every project. They bring a unique perspective and enthusiasm to every project with their passion for visual storytelling and connecting with others using media.
Harsimrandeep Singh Bhamrah
Section 4
Simran singh is a passionate story teller with deep love for visual media. His passion for the film industry started with an introduction to movies and scripts by from his father and for how movies and videos can speak emotions and shows each person’s POV. With experience as a camera man in his home country for 2 years and little bit intro with editing, simran has a talent for capturing moments that truly connect with audiences.
At Conestoga connected, he’s really excited to collab on meaningful content, using and pushing his skills , knowledge and experience while learning from his co-workers. The opportunity to explore different emotions, stories and refine his craft keeps him motivated and inspired to his work and responsibilities.
Looking ahead, Simran aims to get in deep network into the film and television world after graduation, focusing on cinematography and editing. His dream is to make media that not just entertains but also leaves a lasting impact.
Swapnil Debnath
Section 4
Swapnil Debnath is a passionate storyteller with a talent for writing engaging and impactful content. With a focus on narrative-driven projects, Swapnil excels in crafting scripts and stories that captivate audiences and convey meaningful messages. Swapnil brings a creative vision and attention to detail to every project. Dedicated to exploring human experiences through writing, Swapnil continues to refine his craft and inspire others through his work in storytelling after enrolling in the Broadcasting: Television and Independent Production course at Conestoga College. Swapnil enjoys following sports and wants to make a career in palaeontology down the line. He wishes to create a feature documentary based on prehistoric life so that he can combine his two primary fields of passion together.
In his free time, one would often find Swapnil writing articles and stories signifying his love for storytelling. The world of editing and experience behind the camera is relatively new to Swapnil compared to his other classmates, but he is glad to be able to learn every single day and work on his weaknesses with them. Off Campus, Swapnil enjoys playing soccer and diving into as much knowledge as he can acquire across various fields. He also enjoys coding and does modding for various games like Jurassic World Evolution, FIFA and Efoootball.
After school, Swapnil hopes to find work in a television/film production company.
Allan Lovgi Joseph
Section 4
Allan Lovgi Joseph was obsessed with making his own story to show the world ever since he was a child. He writes novels and scripts in his free time and is an Author. He learned more about digital filmmaking when he took a course that gave him a better understanding of editing in FCP. He knew the basics of Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, Avid Pro Tools, and the standard use of a camera[DSLR]. But it wasn’t until joining the Broadcast: Television & Independent Production program at Conestoga College that he started to get even more comfortable at it[slowly], taking notes and practicing every week, that he began to love it. He feels his calling is currently in production as Audio.
Off college, Allan plots a new story every day to see if it can be made into a story or combined with another story that he is currently writing. Overseer’s Asylum is an example of Allan’s works. He also loves to play Football[Soccer].
After school, Allan hopes to find work with a Freelance/Film/Television production company.
Kamaldeep Kaur
Section 4
Kamaldeep Kaur discovered her passion for storytelling while volunteering in aged care, where she learned the impact of meaningful narratives. Currently, she is studying Broadcast Television at Conestoga College and working on Conestoga Connected, where she is excited to contribute to her segment. As part of the production team, Kamaldeep takes on key responsibilities such as camera operation, video editing, and ensuring the overall visual and technical quality of the content. Her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to solve challenges under pressure make her an asset to any project. After graduation, Kamaldeep hopes to pursue a career in television production, where she can continue telling stories that engage and resonate with diverse audiences.
Hayden Luloff
Section 4
Hayden Luloff is studying Broadcast & Independent Film at Conestoga College. He is passionate about Script Writing and Editing. He has a strong interest in Comedy and Action Films. He is currently working on Hometown Showdown.
Dusty Phippen
Section 4
Dusty Phippen has always been interested in the media field but didn’t know exactly what he wanted to focus on. After a growing passion for sports, he decided to combine his dreams of both media and sports, which gravitated him towards the Television & Independent Production course provided at Conestoga College in hopes of pursuing a career in sports broadcasting. For the segments being created, Dusty is working as a camera operator and making sure the audio is clean and clear. After graduating, Dusty hopes to slowly make his way up the broadcasting rankings through connections and work experience, with the goal of one day working for companies such as SportsNet, which will allow him opportunities to be a camera operator in the MLB, NHL, NBA, etc.
Rajveer Singh
Section 4
Rajveer Singh got interested in cinematography and photography back in his high school days. He used to make movies for various events at his school which gave him an Idea on how to film.
He got into Conestoga’s Broadcasting Television Production program to get a deeper understanding of this field. Rajveer is really comfortable in the studio, taking on various production roles such as, camera operator, switcher, and floor director. In his segment, he will be handling the camera and audio for the show.
He currently works in the media team at the Student Recreation Centre at Conestoga, and is a crucial part of the team in covering all varsity events, producing video content, taking action shots and editing.
After college, Rajveer hopes to work with an independent production house where he can work as a cinematographer and photographer.
Kieran Senra
Section 4
Kieran Senra has always loved Film & Television for as long as he can remember. Growing up he used to love making skits and funny videos with his friends and posting them on YouTube. He only thought of it as a hobby before joining the Broadcast – Television and Independent Production program. Since, he has honed his abilities with a camera, audio equipment and in the editing room. He is excited to showcase his skills in the ‘Climb, Drive, Thrive’ segment on Conestoga Connected.
When not at Conestoga, Kieran loves watching basketball. He also enjoys spending quality time with his family and sharing laughs with his friends. Kieran also immerses himself in film and television always looking out for new ideas and creative tinder.
Post graduation, Kieran is excited to work in the creative sector.

Minh Thieu
Section 4
Thieu Quang Minh began his creative journey with photography, but soon discovered a passion for videography, particularly cinematic-style videos that showcase complex lighting and color-grading techniques. As a director and camera operator for “Climb, Drive, Thrive”, he thrives in the creative process, enjoying both the shooting and post-production stages, especially color grading.
What excites him most is the recognition of his work and the rewarding process of bringing media projects to life. One of his proudest accomplishments is leading the production of his former university’s introduction video, a well-received project that the university continues to use today.
Looking ahead, he aims to break into the film or commercial industry after graduation, hoping to refine his skills further and continue to tell visually compelling stories.
Bashiru Tiamiyu
Section 4
Bashiru Tiamiyu is a dedicated student at Conestoga College, delving into Television and Independent Production. His journey in media began with a deep-seated passion for visual storytelling, now flourishing through his coursework and hands-on projects. Bashiru is honing his cinematography, editing, and directing skills, focusing on creating compelling and visually engaging content. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and strong narrative sense, he is building a portfolio that reflects his commitment to the craft. Bashiru’s drive and creativity promise a bright future in media production.
