Amarpreet Kaur developed a love for storytelling from a young age, inspired by her cultural background and the world around her. Currently studying at Conestoga college, she works as a writer and editor for the show Plate by Plate, which highlights local food culture and small businesses. Amarpreet is excited to share unique food stories that connect people and communities. 

Her experience in various production roles has equipped her with the skills needed for this project. After graduation, Amarpreet hopes to work in television or film production, focusing on creative content that makes a difference. 

In her spare time, she enjoys trying new recipes and exploring different cuisines, which fuels her passion for food and storytelling. Amarpreet believes in the power of media to bring people together and looks forward to making an impact through her work in the industry.

Yash Bhoj

Section 3

Yash Bhoj is a communication designer and cinematographer. His love for the industry started when he graduated with a 4-year degree in Communication Design and started to spend hours in Graphic Design and Video Editing, doing some freelance work. Then he moved to Canada to further study TV broadcasting and independent production at Conestoga College, which gave him knowledge of the visual behind the camera.  

Yash dove deeper into the world of visual storytelling, and his skills as a cinematographer. While studying Film and Television, he found himself exploring every aspect of production. Hosting segments and working behind the scenes fueled his drive to create impactful content. Yash aims to continue his journey, crafting stories through film, with dreams of directing his own movies or Documentary one day. The future is full of cinematic possibilities! 

Karsen Campbell

Section 3

Karsen Campbell began creating YouTube videos at a young age, inspired by his favorites Casey Neistat and Faze Clan. In recent years Karsen has found a passion for music production and has seen success with multiple songs having over 100k streams and views on YouTube. Through music production, Karsen has also developed strong relationships with local artists, producers and music studios that he hopes to use for his new ventures into video production. Since being in the TV & Independent production program at Conestoga, Karsen has met like-minded people that allow him to be creative and do what brings him joy. He has always had a passion for traveling and Karsen hopes to make YouTube videos of his travels before working within the industry. When he is not making music or planning his travels you can find Karsen editing his new show Creative Outlook, airing on Conestoga Connected & Rogers TV.

Razaq Giwa

Razaq, did not start out with a passion for film and photography like everyone else. The first time the thought of actually learning or owning a camera started out during the covid period. From what started out as a light hobby turned into hours of exploration and quote on quote YouTube learning blossomed into a fulltime study at Conestoga’s Broadcast and Independent Television program. Where he has honed technical skills in both traditional and digital media. His current role in the Conestoga connected segment is as a floor director. There are also various roles which he has previous experience in. 

Post graduation, he aims to work in the film or media industry, with a focus on directing or cinematography. Future goals include creating impactful, visually rich narratives that resonate with audiences globally, while also exploring opportunities in documentary filmmaking. 

Gurtej Singh

Lucas Marques Ribeiro

Section 3

Lucas Ribeiro has been passionate about film and visual media since childhood. The original Indiana Jones trilogy was his main point of entry into film and what made him fall in love with visual storytelling. From then on, he started to delve deep into the careers of great directors and discover and learn more about the craft of film directing, shooting, and editing. 

As camera operator and producer of the segment, he aims to marry his visual sensibilities to the interesting stories of other creatives around the KW area. 

Apart from his work on Conestoga Connected, he is currently working on post-production for his first short film titled “Barcelona”, which he worked on as director, producer, and editor. 

Timothy Ochieng

Krishnkumar Rajeshbhai Patel

Section 3

Krishnkumar Patel has always been captivated by series, anime, and movies, with a deep-rooted passion for storytelling and creativity. Currently enrolled in Broadcasting television and Independent Production, Krishnkumar Patel brings a foundation in videography, editing, and animation, with aspirations of becoming a key player in the anime industry. Known for his love of scriptwriting, Krishnkumar Patel is eager to create compelling series or movies in the future. Though some friends have doubted his choice, he is determined to excel in this field and leave a lasting impression. After graduation, Krishnkumar Patel hopes to combine his skills to bring stories to life through animation and film production. 

Rahul Rajput

Section 3

Rahul Rajput discovered his love for filmmaking while he was studying for his bachelors in Mass communication and Journalism back in India. His experience during his studies sparked his passion for storytelling through visual media, which led him to Mumbai. There he worked on several ad films, brand campaigns, and corporate videos, gaining hands-on experience as a creative director and an assistant director. These experiences helped him build his skills in direction and writing, allowing him to craft narratives that engage audiences. 

At Conestoga Connected, Rahul is eager to apply his skills in direction and camera work and is looking forward to collaborating on creative projects. After graduation, he aims to continue his journey in filmmaking, focussing on direction and writing. He dreams to create films that entertain and inspire people. With a solid foundation in the field, he is excited to make his mark in the film industry. 

Harvinder Singh

Section 3

Harvinder Singh discovered a passion for storytelling through film during childhood. As an international student in the Broadcast Television program at Conestoga College, he is eager to learn and explore the world of production. For his segment, Harvinder is excited to take on the role of a Gaffer and Audio, diving into the details that will shape engaging content. 

While he may not have industry experience yet, Harvinder brings a fresh perspective and a strong enthusiasm for collaboration. He is committed to developing his skills in video production and hopes to contribute creatively to future projects. 

Outside of his studies, Harvinder enjoys exploring diverse cultures and capturing moments through photography. After graduation, he aims to work in film or television, with a goal of bringing unique stories to life on screen.
