Section 2 – Crew Bios

Tyler Bayley
Section 2
Tyler Bayley is a Broadcasting-TV and Independent Production student at Conestoga College. He completed an internship and in an on-going volunteer at Rogers TV in Kitchener, where he works in studio productions of bingo shows, and also works as a camera operator in hockey games in Guelph, Brantford and Kitchener. He enjoys setting up lights and cameras to make sure everything is running smoothly. He takes pride in completing tasks and taking direction whether he’s on-location or on set. He’s a humble, hard working student who likes to make other people happy and wants to make sure he does things right.

Payton Daye-Fraser
Host – Section 2
Payton Daye-Fraser is a Canadian student currently studying at Conestoga College. With her charming and fun-loving personality, she brings a bubbly atmosphere to each project she works on.
As a black and Mi’kmaq woman born in Halifax Nova Scotia, storytelling has always been an integral part of her life. Having lived in different towns and cities across Canada, she has developed a passion for sharing the unique stories that make each region their own.
Throughout her life, Payton has always been fascinated with art. After attending Eastwood Collegiate Institute in high school as a visual arts major, she learned that film and television were ultimately her passion. Despite enjoying a multitude of roles within the world of television and broadcasting, she has found herself drawn to hosting live shows, as well as writing and directing films.

King Doucette
Senior Editor – Section 2
King Doucette has been dedicated to learning everything there is to creative media since early high school as well as the behind the scenes and creative processes of many films. Later in his high school years he did several co-ops, one of them with Rodgers TV working as a team player to broadcast Brantford Bulldogs OHL hockey games. It was through this co-op that he decided to pursue a career in television and film as a student at Conestoga College.
Through his college career he has helped with producing social media content for the Market Cafe Elmira as well as volunteering to do projection and streaming management for the Emmanuel Evangelical Missionary Church and in the most recent days he has applied his technological skills into programing the churches new digital sign. Looking to the future, King is looking to dive deeper into live broadcasting and develop his on-camera performance.

Lily Fleury
Section 2
Lily Fleury grew up around the arts, from theatre to traditional art and film making; she’s always had a love of creating something meaningful and sharing it with the world. In high school she found her group in theatre and eventually translated that love of community and freedom into film and a love of editing. After graduation she plans on working for a video editing company, though her absolute dream job would be a camera operator for A24.
Lily also wants to produce, film, and edit her own mini series based off of her original characters and inspire other young women to create and share their stories no matter how weird or niche.

Shubham Hingu
Section 2
Shubham Hingu is a passionate storyteller who finds inspiration in films and the art of visual media. He loves being in front of the camera and has also acted in TV serials and plays. Beyond performing, he is deeply curious about the craft behind the scenes—how films are shot, how stories come to life, and the teamwork that makes it all possible.
Shubham has worked with CCDTV as a Post-Production Specialist, where he gained valuable experience in live production, directing, event setup, and tear down. Currently, he is part of Varsity Media, broadcasting live sports matches. His journey reflects both creativity and technical skill, with a vision of one day building his own production company and creating
impactful TV commercials that connect with audiences.

Matteo Iacuzzi
Section 2
Matteo Iacuzzi has always been a creative person, exploring different art forms from a young age. His first dream was to pursue comedy and acting, inspired by a love for performance and making others laugh. That direction changed in high school after taking a communications technology class, where he discovered a passion for media, photography, and film.
Now studying at Conestoga College, Matteo is working toward his goal of producing films and shows that reflect his own ideas and style. Outside of film, he enjoys drawing, photography, and animation, all of which continue to spark his imagination. He also has a strong interest in writing and voice acting, which give him other ways to experiment with characters and stories. Matteo hopes to bring all these passions together in his future career.
Rebekah Idsinga
Host – Section 2
Rebekah Idsinga is a talented, outgoing and creative individual who loves to learn. After completing Design Foundations and Visual Merchandising Arts, she is excited to complete Broadcasting – Television and Independent Production in spring 2026 and get to working on her career. She loves theatre, singing and sports.
Along her schooling ventures, she has discovered a love for prop and costume making, scriptwriting and hosting shows. Her future career hopes include being a reporter for the Toronto Blue Jays or a scriptwriter for film and Television.

Adrianna Kellerman
Social Media Manager – Section 2
Adrianna’s love for film began when she first picked up a camera as a child, sparking a lifelong interest in telling stories that shine a light on overlooked voices. As a Waterloo Region local, she brings a unique perspective to Local Matters, combining her knowledge of the community with a passion for showcasing the small businesses and hidden gems that shape it.
She holds an Honours degree in Film Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, trained in Film Production at Vancouver Film School, and is currently studying Broadcasting: Television and Independent Production at Conestoga College while competing on the women’s varsity basketball team.
Looking ahead, Adrianna hopes to build a career as an intimacy coordinator, working to create a safe, supportive set and emphasizing the importance of a safe work environment.

Farzan Raza
Section 2
Farzan Raza is a hard-working creative student. Since high school, he’s been dedicated to make fun content of any topic he feels passionate towards. He always makes content to be creative, fun and for a general audience. His other hobbies outside of editing, include gaming, voice acting, singing, and directing. Using critical thinking to intellectual research, Farzan creates projects he personally wishes to produce, and projects that his viewers/audience suggest, if it’s appropriate. During a Comtech class in high school, Farzan felt a sense of discovery and a vital career opportunity and that discovery made him quickly develop an interest in video editing. He is continuing to develop skills in storytelling, acting, directing, writing, and producing videos.

Rachel Ubani
Section 2
Rachel Ubani’s love for broadcasting started from an early age, she was drawn to the power of storytelling and the impact it could have on people’s lives. That passion led her to study mass communication and gain hands-on experience in the broadcast media space.
Through her academic journey and work in the industry, Rachel has developed a strong commitment to telling stories that inspire change and spark meaningful conversations. She is especially passionate about using media to highlight issues that matter and to give a voice to underrepresented perspectives. Rachel also has a keen interest in visual storytelling and cinematography, where she enjoys bringing narratives to life in engaging ways.
Rachel is excited about working in the news media—where she hopes to combine her passion, skills, and creativity to tell stories that truly make a difference.

Steven Vezina
Section 2
Steven Vezina is an aspiring video editor and experienced writer. Having
discovered his enjoyment of writing in middle school, he aims to bring his storytelling style to the world of television. He was fascinated by the inner workings of filmmaking and the amount of rare and interesting content from movies left on the cutting room floor. And after taking the Media Foundations program, he knew that he wanted to enter the film and television industry.
Steven is the scriptwriter for the comedy series Rental Madness. He is
dedicated to bringing his stories and humor to life by producing four
episodes with a team. His dedication is reflected through his work ethic,
where he brings his best effort to projects.
Outside of school, he likes to edit together entertaining videos. After
graduating, he aims for freelance work regarding video editing.

Amy Watts
Section 2
The arts have played a huge role in Amy Watts’s life. She remembers being a little girl and creating movies/plays with her friends. She was always the one to sit down and draw out costume designs, write out the scripts, do all the preproduction and, even the makeup. She also did CommTech in high school, which really influenced her decision and then she stumbled upon the Broadcasting-Television and Independent Production Program at Conestoga College. Since then, she has learned a lot about the creative process and really enjoys it.
Amy loves working behind the scenes, for Local Matters She takes on the role as the producer. She will be booking and chasing guests for the show, and she will plan each episode. This will challenge her to work under pressure, go outside of her comfort zone throughout this project.
Outside of classes and assignments, Amy has to balance school while working part-time. After finishing this program, she wants to write and produce her own films and possibly go to cosmetology school as well to do makeup on film sets.
